The good news is that it is a subtle change, so your "roots" aren't real obvious. It looks very natural...a little darker at the roots and gradually lighter especially if you use the product fairly regularly. Obviously, the more often you use it the lighter the result, but don't expect a dramatic bleach job. That is not what it is for. My hair gets a little mousey colored, especially in the winter. This product lifts the color just enough to give my hair some life. **Q: Does it still works if after putting the product to my hair, I put another cream for curls and then dry it with the dryer?** A: I'm sure it would still work, but not to its full effect because the cream might overcoat the spray. It'll probably lighten your hair at a more gradual rate.
