For starters, it is not spicy like most of the korean ramen I'm used to. The dry seasoning looks similar to the ones from other instant ramen noodles but the liquid seasoning is where it's at. The liquid seasoning does add a lot of the sesame oil flavor that blends nicely with the salty, savory flavor. The noodles also have a pleasant chewiness to it, like al dente pasta. I like to add eggs and vegetables to my noodles but I personally did not like them with this ramen. It gets a bit too overwhelming because the seasoning is very flavorful. If you do put veggies in this one, I would stick with veggies with milder flavor. Overall, I would recommend this if you have a little more to spend on your instant ramen and want to try something new. I do have to warn you though that the amount of sodium in ONE pack exceeds the recommended amount of daily sodium intake. Some people may like it but I thought the smell of the liquid base was horrible and near vomit inducing. I tried it anyway because I made the darn thing. The taste wasn't as bad as the smell but the liquid base made it too oily for my taste. My boyfriend who will eat pretty much anything (even a Cheeze It he found laying on the ground in a parking lot) wouldn't try it because of the smell alone. I tried it again later without the liquid base and it was amazing. The noodles are so much better than the noodles you get in Top Ramen or Maruchan. The powder soup base flavor is great. I used a little less water so I could get a really salty taste.
