Love this addition to my craft room. It is wonderful for making envelopes once you figure out how to use it. I did watch a YouTube video which helped considerably. A bone folder is used with this device. It works well as long as you are careful not to push too hard on the point. Then it will tear your paper. Hold it a little more parallel instead of holding it straight up and it works fine.

I've been stashing up on junk journaling supplies and, even though I wasn't sure this would come in handy, it really had and it's been a nice, sturdy quality. I love that the small tool goddess in the back of it. Simple, but effective.

I like the bigger board for larger projects. For me, it is much easier and quicker with this larger board than it is with one of the smaller ones. Rubber feet make the board stable. Feels sturdy and durable. The only problem I have is with the envelope instruction. One of the envelopes I use most often is for quarter fold cards. (4.25 x 5.5). The scale mark says to use 3.5 on all four sides. This makes an envelope that leaves a large gap between folds and a totally unusable envelope. I do opposing flaps at 3.5 but do the other 2 flaps at 4. This will make an envelope that closes properly. Another thing to keep in mind - the USPS does not recommend square envelopes. You would have to pay extra postage and write "Hand Cancel". Otherwise you run the risk of the envelope being stamped by USPS on the wrong corner (not where your postage stamp is) and having the item returned to you. Ask me how I know this lol. I haven't tried out the box envelope or box instructions yet, but will make sure to test on scrap paper before using my good paper and having the project fail.

It took a little getting used to but I’m obsessed with this thing now. As an artist I’m always making goofy sized stuff to mail friends and it’s nice to easily make envelopes of whatever size looks nice. I don’t have the extra cutter thing they suggest, I just use a craft knife.

Great scoring board. Additional insert comes in handy for envelopes and other items.
