Had to be water/weatherproof, and an absolute must was being able to see at night (Good IR lighting). and the movement speed was somewhat important as well. And of course being a normal everyday homeowner without a ton of money to spend, cost was going to play a huge factor.So after doing a ton of research and lots of shopping around I stumbled upon this camera. Well I have to tell you that I was defiantly skeptical being that the cost was lower than everyone else especially all of the name brands from here in the states. But I took a chance and ordered this camera and now after having it for some time I must say I am very pleased with my purchase the camera.It (knock on wood) has preformed flawlessly, I really couldn't be happier. Upon arrival I had a few questions about some of the information in the manual that came with the camera. Upon sending an email I received a very prompt response, there customer service is excellent. As for performance the IR's are incredible they literally light up my neighbors entire yard. The clarity is excellent with the 10x optical zoom I can zoom in to a car license plate that is two houses down across the street at NIGHT and read it perfectly I couldn't believe it. The speed is great the color and BW are both good. honestly In my opinion I don't think you can find a better PTZ camera for this price point anywhere..Really the only thing that I have to really say that is not excellent about this camera is1 I think they should offer an option for a straight mount or the side mount which they may offer and I missed it2 I wish the camera had a manual adjustable irisother than those two things which are miniscule this camera is perfect for what it is I couldn't be more happy with my purchase and I am actually buying another as soon as I'm done with this review lol ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Bought this through amazon and it worked great. It was super clear, the IR LED's super bright. The camera can no longer pan or tilt though. If you purchase this DO NOT expect to leave it patrolling. It will break. However, at night the cameras have become unusable. It seems that the iris is stuck or not functioning as the picture is so dark that identifying anyone or anything is impossible. It took us a couple of months to install them and after 4-6 months they became faulty. I tried to return them but "the window of opportunity" closed after 4-6 weeks. That doesn't seem fair. There should be a 6-12 month warranty on this product. If this is how they operate then I would NEVER buy anything from them again.
