Contrary to some reviews, this ramen isn’t identitcal to what you would get if you went into a Ramen house in Japan. HOWEVER, replicating that with instant noodles is impossible. These, however, come as close as humanly possible for noodles ready in 4 minutes. The noodles are not even comparable to cheap maruchan noodles, these are much more authentic than their American counterparts. Amazing, bold flavor. I must add, I didn’t have any true toppings available. However, you would be dead wrong if you didnt add some Shichimi Togarashi on top, which gave it a good kick. For someone whose tried many instant ramens during my time in Japan, this one takes the throne. Something feels wrong for spending over $3 for a pack of ramen, but its definitely worth it. 10/10 would reccommend

Delicious
My son told me to buy this. He lives in California and I live in New Jersey. He said it's the closest thing to the Ramen Noodle Cafes they have out there. I bought it. Tastes Delicious. But I have nothing to compare it to like he does. The noodles are definitely higher quality than the cheap noodles I get for 50 cents at my local grocery store when I buy those instant ramen cups or packs. But I gotta admit, I love those cheap Ramen noodles. So I'm not sure I'm the best person to say these are delicious since I find the cheap ones delicious too.

Comparable to a low priced Ramen-ya! And that's a great thing!
It's the best dried powdered ramen pack you can get. In the USA it wouldn't surprise me if it's used at cheap ramen shops. In japan cheap ramen shops may use it too who knows. Usa cheap ramen is still ten bucks where in japan it's like 3 bucks. Either way this stuff is good. However, I drank the broth all the way down and that did not sit well with my stomach personally. I couldn't help myself it was so tasty.Ramens weird in the usa it seems to be 14 dollar gourmet or 10cent trash. This tastes damn good.Enjoy!

The BEST instant style ramen. 6/5!!
Literally the BEST instant tonkatsu ramen! A little more costly than most other instant ramens especially compared to cup noodles/maruchan ramen but the taste is no match for Nissin's Raoh. I've had the other flavors such as Tantan, Miso, Soy sauce and they are all great but Tonkatsu really is the best! 6/5 because I just believe that 5 is not enough..Try out Ichiran instant ramen if you want something even better but stock up on these!

Yes, you will get “Artificial Tonkotsu Flavor”; and you SHOULD
I’m posting this review because, like others seem to have, I really loved the “Umami Tokotsu” flavor depicted in the photo. Many are disappointed that they are receiving the “Artificial Tonkotsu Flavor” version of the product, but that is the one you should be receiving. If you recently received the “Umami Tokotsu,” check your best by dates, because that product was discontinued some time ago. The “Artificial Tonkotsu Flavor” is Nisin RAOH’s replacement. It is the newer version, and likely the only Tonkotsu flavor you could receive with a best by date that hasn’t already come and gone. So relax, boil some water, and make yourself a bowl. Oshokuji wo tanoshiminasai!

Absolutely delicious
My brother had told me about these and yes, I was skeptical about instant ramen being anything better than decent.I was wrong, this stuff is really, really good. I feel like the price is a bit inflated due to Covid affecting non-perishables but nonetheless, this is very delicious Ramen. Even if you don't make your own eggs and Chashu like I do, it's super delicious on it's own. I highly recommend it.

Worth the extra cost
This is not your convenience store ramen. The noodles are silky yet firm with a wholesome flavor, not like the cardboard you may be used to. The velvety broth is rich with flavor, and you will be amazed that it comes from a seasoning packet. All the Nissin Roah ramen varieties are delicious, but the Tonkatsu wins for its wow factor and addictive properties ... think I'll make another bowl now!

Great find!
My husband and I were looking for different, healthier noodle soups than could be found in out small town. Based on reviews, we tried these. YUM! We are very pleased and have since ordered 3 more boxes. While not the cheapest, certainly a fair price for a work lunch, or the center of an easy dinner. We are hooked.
