I immediately co-washed then steamed exactly as I do my own hair. Figured this hair hasn’t seen moisture since manufacture. Worked perfectly then added Eco Black Castor and Flax to define the curls. Very nice results.I love that this hair is remy (means all hair cuticles in same direction so minimizes tangling) and the grade is 9A. I hope that’s true because it means one donor. The result is the texture is uniform.I’ll check back in in a month but I really hope this helps. I say do it. I ordered a 14inch and received a 12 inch. The wefts were sewn poorly. The wefts were already coming loose and they were clearly visible at the top of the unit. The color was great and so was the hair itself. It even looked amazing on. I wanted to keep it soooo bad and try to work around it but then I thought about not wanting to deal with the poor constructions and weft placement. I want to be able to wash it and brush it without fear of it falling completely apart. I also don't want to be concerned if my wefts are showing.
