The hoe head was wobbling right out of the box, the tool itself arrived in good shape and no damage in transit -- it appears the head was not fully secured into the shaft by the large pin /bolt at the center of the hoe going through the wood handle ... I ordered a replacement and will update review then ... in the mean time, another 2 week delay ...

This tool works fine for light work, but the head bends way too easy for heavy work. I needed to pull out a patch of heavy weeds. Some had strong root systems. This tool was helpful but the head bent trying to pull some of the tougher weeds out of the ground. And the tool was brand new (first time using it). I think this is great for lighter work though.

This tool came complete if you need to reach under your bushes and you think about spiders and biting insects you don't have to worry anymore with this tool it'll reach under there it'll clear it out you can build a moat around your plants fill them up with water like a cup and no worries till the next week it's all made with thick pencil steel the wood is solid it looks like it may be maple but probably it's pine either way it has a very thick handle worth the money

Update: The joint where the head is connected to the handle bent the second time I went to use this tool. I'm so disappointed. It was doing such a great job. I'm still deciding whether or not I should return it. I was able to bend it back in place, but it doesn't seem as stable anymore. I'm going to take a closer look to see if I can just replace the piece that bent when I get a chance. The overall concept and design of the tool is great, but the bolt/screw holding the head in place does not seem to be good quality. :(Previous: I love this tool! Weeding my overgrown garden beds is quicker than ever now. Don’t know how I survived so long without this.

I only wish I could find a cultivator with a narrower head. Still difficult to get very close to crop plants. I would like to eliminate the need to crawl around on the ground hand weeding, still this cultivator does its intended job very well and is extremely sturdy. I think it will outlive me!

It was way smaller than I thought. And it was broke after three times. Also when I bought it price was 32, after few days later price reduced down to 22.

I was so surprised at the quality of this hoe. It's very sturdy. I like to use this for digging up weedsin my flower beds and it works well. My only complaint is that it's a little heavy for me, but I amalmost eighty. Every gardener should have one of these.

don't know why i waited so long to order this. it is easy to use and very durable. good price. i have checked at area hardware stores and they are much more expensive
