The media could not be loaded.  People complained about this manufacturer's hooks being poor quality. Rough eyes breaking the leader. I immediately tried tying 5x tippet material to the eye of these jig hooks and then tried to break it while moving the tippet material all around on the eye. I tried pulling as hard as I could and even pulled the hook out of my forceps. I could not get the tippet material to break, tried moving it this way and that way like sawing and the tippet never broke. Seems to me these jig hooks are great. I will change my review after I have tied mostly mop flies and caught fish, should the tippet material starts to saw into by what others claim as rough eyes. So far they seem great for a great price. Ordered Tuesday received Wednesday. Perfect so far. See 54 second video.

The hooks are great but I thought I ordered an assortment pack but I received 100 size #12 nymph hooks and there all the same. I’ll keep these because I really like tying nymphs and they’re actually big enough to tie some dry flies with. I’ll look a little closer next time I order hooks from this company. I think the options are a little misleading. It was hard to decipher which packs of hooks were the assorted hooks and if that was even an option. If a hook assortment isn’t an option I think it should be an option. I will buy from this company again as it is a really good bargain. Can’t find 100 nymph hooks around where I live for less than 10$

I am so impressed with the quality of the hooks and the sellers response to getting me these hooks so fast. I cannot tell you how many sets I have bought but I have several times and very satisfied. I have bought every style offered and I am satisfied that I give a strong 5 stars. Also the container is so cool for the flies I tie. I will buy again and thank you for the quick delivery.

These hooks are incredibly great value for the money. Very sharp and seem very high-quality. I’ve used them all even the high price stuff that I used to buy but I will definitely be ordering these from now on. 100 hooks for about the price of 10 of the regular high priced ones and I can’t tell a difference in the quality. Also as an added bonus you get a nice little micro slip fly box with them. That was a very thoughtful touch. One thing you should know is that these hooks run run one size large. I. I got the jig fly hooks for euro nymphing. The price of competition hooks was getting expensive and I lose a lot of flies. For the price these are good enough for my use. They are not as heavy as the hooks I normally use but seem good enough, especially in the larger sizes. I tie flies for my own use, not to sell.

I have used the jig hooks for Euro nymphing flies, and have found them to be extremely reliable. They are strong, sharp, and I have not had any problems with bad hook eyes. I can't speak for the other variations since I haven't used them. But the jig hooks are easily five stars for me. I will continue to buy and use them.
