I was very excited to receive this and I was not disappointed. It has some serious heft and is quite large (if you want to wear it, you won't forget that it's on your hand), so I would suggest either displaying it or getting some suede cord or something and making it into a necklace. The shutter is a little finicky, which is my only complaint; you have to press down on the shutter control to get it to work. I don't know if that's by design or not, but it does make it so it doesn't open by accident, but it can make it a little difficult to close all the way. Other than that, this thing is completely awesome, if maybe a tiny bit overpriced. All in all, if you're diehard rebel scum like I am, you'll love this.

I was kind of leery about ordering because there are other rings that state that the 'center spins to reveal', and it's simply a disc in the center that spins. This is not that. It's an actual aperture that works as the prop in the film did, with a small lever to open and close it. The construction is great, metal, and is very sturdy. I should say it is oversized (I think) to the prop itself. The shank of the ring is thick. I mean THICK (as you can see from my photos.) It's comfortable to wear strangely enough. But if I punched someone with it on it'd probably break a bone. It's heavy.If you want a great piece that replicates the prop without spending $200 or more - this is for you. It's solidly made, a beauty of a piece, and it's fully functional. Plus, it's licensed—which means over decades it should increase in value (if that matters to you). Will fan made replicas? Sadly, probably not.For short wearing it's fine. But it's great display piece. I'm way happy with this, and btw I believe this is the one that will be sold at Galaxy's Edge in the parks when it opens. Get it now!

I will start by saying it is a nice well made ring, but it is not even close to the size of the ring that Rose had. I refer to it as the Superbowl ring. I'm a big guy but this thing is huge. I feel like it is over priced for what it is. I only payed that price thinking I would be getting a screen accurate reproduction. I'm only keeping it as place holder in my collection until I can find a better version.

This item was not worth the money. The little flip switch broke after 3-4 uses to reveal the signature sign. My grandson loved this and is so bummed that it broke so quickly. Would not recommend this.
