I am wanting to add zippers to it if possible.** A: It will sew easily with a sewing machine or by hand, but it may not last as long. I have made many projects with this material but have used hot glue. Glues takes very well and makes the material stronger. **Q: Would this fabric be ok to make an awning, such as a sailcloth type? My area is so small, to purchase one is out. I need to put grommets in corners** A: Use long stiches...like a 4...it is light weight...it may rip...i used it on a glider canopy..it was a good weight for that, but, i wouldn't put all the effort to make one for my 12Γ—12 gazebo...i also doubled it to make slings for patio chairs...lightweight enough you can use a home machine **Q: Can I glue this fabric or does it have to be sewn?** A: I'm using this fabric for recovering outside chairs,so I will be sewing but if you use strong exterior glue my guess is it will be ok. **Q: If I order 14 yard. Can you connect it?** A: It comes in one length - mine was all one piece - they don't send it in separate pieces.
