Good quality, works as expected
This keyboard with frame works as expected and is of good quality. You wouldnt mistake it as replacement part. Snap a lenovo sticker in their and you would mistake it as an oem part of lenovo. I purchased this to replace the keyboard of my daughter's ideapad 330, where she accidentally spilled her drink. At first, i tried replacing just the keyboard, but a lot of aftermarket ones out there are DOA or defective. Plus, the back metal piece of the keyboard has to be removed and i did it by melting the plastic with soldering iron. Thats a lot easier and safer than scraping (like how its shown in youtube) without bending the metal piece. However, even with this procedure, once the new keyboard is installed ,the metal Piece behind the keyboard needs glued or plastic welded for the new keyboard to stay perfectly flat. But it still doesnt come snug or perfectly fit with the old keyboard frame. Hence i bought this entire assembly. All i needed to do is transfer the fan, heatsink, motherboard and hard drive. I upgraded the hard drive with ssd while doing this repair and makes a huge difference. Keyboard with frame came with preinstalled internal speakers. Shipping took about 3 weeks from china.
