You would need a different locker for the rear Dana 35 in your YJ but i would personally not put an auto locker in it. This will pop considerably on pavement in your rear diff. I have it in my front and it behaves like an open diff when in 2wd. It locks up in 4wd and becomes stiffer to steer but climbs rocks much better. I have the D-30 front. **Q: Does this locker make noise on tight turns?** A: Yes, all lunch box type lockers make a clicking noise on turns. On slow tight turns you may occasionally hear and feel a loud banging. I have this locker in my front D30 and while turning into a parking space I turn slowly and don't accelerate while doing this type of turning.
