So far every led I've grabbed out of the box has worked with no DOA leds.I did not see this listed, so not sure every kit get this, but mine came with a fairly nice assortment of resistors. While I usually stock resistors, this was a nice add-on and one I feel a lot of people will appreciate. The 3mm diodes are a perfect size and are more than bright enough. My only gripe would be that they're clear and unable to tell apart unless they're functioning.
