I bought this to stop my thumb locking and clicking. It holds my thumb rigidly in place and is fairly comfortable to wear. The only downside is that it stinks! I may be prejudiced, being a vegetarian, but it stinks like fish.

A useful addition to help with my trigger thumb. Easy to wear and stabilising my joint. Only draw back, the thumb stem works it's way out, as it comes out for washing. And secondly, it makes my hand sweat where it is closed over. However, the pain relief helps with the slight drawback. It came well in time and is with ease usable.

My thumbs have improved a lot since I am using these splints.However the quality doesn’t last. After one month the adjustable part on the wrist keeps opening all the time which is annoying and gets stuck on my clothes. I need to replace with a new pair.

A Great Splint, Very tight so only to be used if you do not have a Pressure issue (like swollen thumb, it will hurt) i used when going to bed, the strapping was comfortable abd the splint kept my thumb straight, too a while to get used to. Cannot use anymore because my thumb developed a bend so is too painful to keep straight.Excellent if you need to Keep your Thumb dead straight, can use in bed too

I think I sprained my thumb whilst attempting to open a really tight jar. As a result, I've had shooting pain in my thumb for a week!As soon as I put this on, it stopped my thumb from moving and with that, the pain vanished!It's fair to say I'll be wearing this until it heals up, great product!

It is a bit stiff and rigid but that is the whole point I guess, it does effectively restrict the thumb from moving but I found it hard to then use the hand at all. Depending on the severity of your injury this could be great news. I am glad I tried it, too effective for me as I couldn't do my daily tasks but not a bad product at all. I strained/stretched the base of my thumb so this may have not been the correct product for me.

Highly recommended. This is perfect for tendonitis and de quervians. The supportive metal is in the perfect place to give the support needed to stop that painful area from bending and causing the pain. It is very comfortable and can be adjusted to make it tighter and looser. I have worn it day and night whilst my tendon recovers.
