It was sent in a bubbly envelope with all kinds of tape on the outside for protection. However, after I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased. This convertible cross body/backpack arrived in a very timely manner. It is absolutely stunning and my 26 year old daughter loves it! I am thrilled that I purchased it and that she loves it! I had originally bought it for her for a trip she is planning. However, she was so excited, she shared with our whole family, "I'm so carrying this everyday!" The leather is very soft and not stiff which makes it a little lighter weight to carry. Yes, I had purchased another one to compare and sent the other one back. It looks like a cool purse, but it converts really comfortably into a backpack. Because of the design, the straps never slide around sloppily or fall off my shoulders.
