Extra long, very good suction, feels safe and comfortable

This is a standard mat for a bath tub, particularly useful for people who use an over-bath shower. The extra long length of 100cm almost totally fills the bottom of the bath, and with its semi-circular cut out at one end it is easy to place this close to the plug hole for water to drain away.This is quite a thick mat, the reverse is laden with suction cups, and there are holes in between each to allow water to drain beneath the mat so you don't stand in it and slip. The top of the mat is comfortable to stand on and I felt quite safe when in the shower, my feet didn't slip at all.To use - run the shower for a few seconds to moisten the bottom of the bath then lay the mat down, pressing firmly across its length to push the suction cups down into place. On a new mat, this can take a while because it needs time to loosen up and flatten out. When showering is finished, lift up the mat, give it a little shake to remove some of the excess moisture, and hang it over the bath to dry until next time.These mats can be washed at low temperatures in a washing machine. I tried that a few years ago and found the mat I washed just would not stick down in the bath afterwards. Since then, I have just bought a new mat every year to have a clean, fresh, hygienic mat to stand on. They are not expensive and at least I know the suction cups will work on a new mat.If you find the ends of your mat are hard to unroll and lie flat, the seller suggests leaving it to soak in the bath for 10 minutes, the hot water should help to flatten it. I left mine over the side of the bath overnight and whilst the ends were still a little curly when I pressed them into place in the bath, once I had finished showering, the hot water had, indeed, helped to flatten them down.There are a variety of colours available for this product, some have different prices to others. I selected a simple white this time and it really is a bright, clean white. The price is pretty much in keeping with other products of this nature and I found it ideal when I used it.

Perfect for us elderly or youngsters. The mat fits the entire length of the bath so climbing in for a shower is no risk at all, and if having a bath, it’s easier to get out because your feet don’t slide or slip.

This mat fits my bath well and sticks well.I lift it to rinse or clean the underside frequently then stick it to the tiled wall to drain. This seems to keep it clear and clean. Definitely reduces the risk of slipping and falling.

This was purchased after my dad had a fall when he slipped in the bath while showering. The mat is so easy to put in place then remove and roll up when bathing.The grip is very good under foot, it's comfortable to stand on, and it feels like it will last.

Size is good.I am not sure if I specified it had to be rubber.This mat seems to be a bit plastic. Slight movement unless you press it down hard. It may/may not have rubber in it, but I am going to have to order a different shower mat which is 100% rubber, because I am slightly worried about slipping. The quality is sound. Just not precisely as I require.

Excellent quality and it sticks to the floor of the tub. It's slightly on the smaller side but it's absolutely big enough to do the job.
