There is a carry handle on top of the lid or an adjustable carry strap. The lid is secured by a dual zipper and there is a small outer pocket that isn't insulated but provides some additional storage for condiments and the like. Everything looks and feels very well made - the zippers open and close easily and don't feel cheap, there is no stray stitching, it is well insulated and I really like the grey outer.
