Sopranos: The Book: The Complete Collector's Edition

The only reason I gave it a 4 was because i try to reserve 5's for "brand new, right off the presses"Other than that the book was perfect, shipped well and on time and at a great price. One thing, this book is for TRUE Soprano fans, the ones who want to know EVERYTHING about the show. Not the perfect book for the "gabagool" loving paisan or the fans that couldn't wait to see Richie Aprile get what was coming to him. PS, it does not give any insight into the final episodeThis book is highly slanted towards the production of the show. Everything from the kind of liquid substituted for booze to how good the food really was.Don't get me wrong, tons of good stories and particulars about the show that a casual fan would appreciate, just try not to gloss over the backstage sections

This book brought me back to all of the episodes that I had watched over the years with splendid details making it all rich and bustling again. I watched all of the episodes a second time which were available through my cable carrier and then got to see and read all sorts of background material about the series and its creation. The book covers all areas of the production and is a nice reference for the story content of each episode. .

The book itself should be on the shelf of any fan of the series. It's not the usual slipshod rider on a successful show; it's a well produced and informative look behind the scenes, with lots of interesting comments by David Chase and the actors. My copy was purchased used, in very good (almost fine) condition, at a very reasonable price. My compliments to the seller, who came through well and quickly.

I have seen the entire Sopranos series in its entirety four times, and I must say this book adds a whole new layer of information and fun facts that any fan of the show, writing, or TV production can appreciate. It has in-depth bios and high-res photos of the sets like inside Tony's house and the back room of the Bada Bing! It also has stories about the writers and cast off-camera, and their lives during the Sopranos days. I read this Sopranos "bible" in 3 nights. A must-read, I could not put this book down!

I bought this book as a gift for a Sopranos' fan, and she loves it. She especially likes the episode by episode "directory" in the back of the book. The book is loaded with pictures and divided into interesting categories, NOT just an episode by episode review--eg. one about coming up with the idea for the show, "Jersey," discussion of each of the characters, the violence . . . .

The Sopranos, Book, HardcoverThis book is terrific. It takes you behind the scenes of the program. As you read you find yourself saying "You know I always wondered how that particular scene or episode was done". The other thing is the bio's that each cast member did on their character. Most interesting. There is much more but I'll let you read the book and form your own opinions.

I watched The Sopranos years ago and recently started to watch the episodes again. There are so many characters and characters getting whacked the book made it much easier to follow along. Gives lots of fun and insightful information whether you are watching shows for first time or you already watched series . I highly recommend book. And as always, the product came as promised in a timely matter.

Great book ! This has got to be, "the best TV. series, Ever", What amazing acting by the entire cast but will there ever be another"Tony Soprano" ?? So sudden and heartbreaking, his departure. Couldn't help the feeling as if we knew him. It was a sad day .May he long be remembered as a very special person and actor. So happy that this series was made so as history can enjoy just how unique he was. RIP.

Highly recommend this book for all Sopranos fans. It is fantastic. If you loved the Sopranos, this book should be added to your collection. It has everything that you would want to know about the Sopranos. Love it.
