Roughneck Traditional Hickory Handle Axe - 800g (1¾lbs)

Stylish, well balanced, well made Axe. Beautifully finished axe head and well shaped, solid Hickory handle. Sharp enough straight out of the box. Very good value for money. My only reservation is that it comes with a rather cheap protective cover, which somewhat spoils the presentation. Still, the axe will certainly do the job, and that's what counts.

This hatchet looks great and the blade is very sharp. Good cutting edge, nice haft form (handle). The head cover was awful so I bought a leather blade cover which looks great. I also got rid of the advertising on the side of the haft which made it look cheap. I added a lanyard hole at the foot of the haft with an added leather lanyard. I would say for the price this is a nice hatchet with nice form and nice weight but it comes with a few flaws which are easy to remedy.

Great quality, good edge and good balance

Monster of a hatchet. Cut through some suborn wood with ease. Perfect weight and balance with the handle that just the right length to have the right swing radius. Handle looks like it made in Valhalla from the wood of Yggdrasil. Solid. This would also do well on the shield wall. :)

Lovely hickory wooden handle and the blade is sharp enough to do whatever you need it to but I will hand sharpen it just like I do with chisels and planer blades

This is a quality tool. It feels sturdy and well made. The axe head is a bit heavier than most but the tool is well balanced and chops well. It is very sharp and his ideal for chopping firewood. I would definitely recommend it.

Looks and feels really good. not bad balance. Came earlier than told. Bonus.
