NEW DIAMOND NEEDLE STYLUS FOR SHURE M44 M44-7 M447 4759-D7C 759-DE

I always wanted to know what a $5000 cartridge would sound like but this will do for now. i’ve also wondered if this needle would hurt my records.$14 versus whatever. I’m good.Ya’know thinking about it i’ve never had the best needle and the records that I took good care of and never actually touched any of the grooves with my fingertips. They sound great, after all these years.

Bought this to replace a needle on an old Rock-ola jukebox. My dad’s business was old jukeboxes and other coin operated machines, but he died a couple years ago so I’ve had to google search problems we’ve encountered with the jukebox we got from him. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so when I found this needle, I felt it was worth the try. It came very well packaged! No worry about it breaking in transit. It was easy to install and sounds great. It was a great choice for the price and I’m glad I ordered it.

After market stylus. NOT an original m44-7 but seems to be working.

I thought I’d never be able to get a replacement for my Shure M44-7 needles. Then I saw a review on DJ City and said what the heck, let me try this stylus because the price could not be beat. I am more than happy with the company and the product. M44-7’s were loud needles. These needles have a sonic profile that are very very close to the original Shure M44-7. I was so happy I bought 4 more (I have teenagers in the house that are loving vinyl so I have backups for my backups :)

The media could not be loaded. This is not what they showed in the picture, but the main problem is that it doesn't fit right and doesn't work! The plastic part is too small. I had to force it on and even then still it doesn't read at all. The needle doesn't even stick in the records grooves. My serato get's no reading from these needles & the tone arm just slides all the way across. It's a complete pos. Instant trash! Buy it then throw it away. This was a waste of money. I am pissed because I need my needles for this weekend, and now I have to go to guitar center, which I should've done in the first place. This is not what they showed in the picture! It is not compatible! Don't waste your money! Watch my video review! What a joke!

It came fast and was exactly what I ordered. Needle works perfect.

The stylus angle was very minimal/there wasn't much spring on the one I got. I have my tracking set at 2.5 when at home and because of the lack of angle of this stylus, the cartridge almost bottoms out on the record. It has actually bottomed out on records that weren't perfectly flat or if the record had a raised edge.My monitor speakers are hooked up to a Hifi and I was able to hear some frequency loss compared to an actual Shure stylus while using this stylus.For the price, I would use this stylus for a home setup that isn't hooked up to a hifi if just for practice. I wouldn't bring this stylus out to a dj gig because it will bottom out if I increase the tracking to compensate for an unstable Dj station.If they increased the angle of the stylus, I would consider using for dj gigs.

Though functioning and a decent needle at a fair price, the image is misleading. There are no identifying letters of any kind, the insertable stem is half the length of an original Shure N-447 needle, and it is too early to tell what life I will get out of the pair or if they will wear out the grooves in my collection. I have my prized back ups but bought these as a substitute for paying gigs. There is no discernable sound quality difference but a surprising lack of noise before grounding. As I, the buyer will take a chance. So far, so good.
