This kit is a food value and is relatively well put together. I am running the LED lights from Costco on it and it works well. The cable clamps that allow you to make loops and terminate a run were effective and easy to use.The turnbuckles were easy to adjust and tightened up the runs nicely.The only recommendation I would make is to ditch the masonry expansion hooks and put in another turnbuckle or 2. Anyone tapping in to masonry is going to go with a stouter solution that that hook.It went up fairly quickly and the lights went on to it very nicely. I am very happy.

Light weight perfect size wire thickness to function well seems like quality wire it’s lasted a couple of thunderstorms already definitely durable !

This is a great kit for hanging string lights. It includes everything you need to get the job done. All the parts are good quality and perform as expected. The only issue is there are 8 wire clamps (used to make a loop to connect to a carabiner) but only 6 carabiners.

The kit is great, all the stuff to string outdoor lights. Even has a little wrench. But, the screws are no good, heads are too soft and strip the heads out. Toss them and get better screws. I would buy it again but I’d get a better quality screw.

I write very few reviews, but this kit is the absolute best kit I have every purchased for the installation of ANYTHING. You thought of every possible installation, included all necessary equipment and tools which made it so much easier to install! I cannot say enough good about this! Kudos to whomever put this package together!

My wife bought a 100 foot string of solar lights and asked me to hang them up. Unfortunately hanging them by their own power cord would decrease the life expectancy to weeks as the wind would tear the wire up at the light sockets. When looking for a wire solution to handle the weight and stress I found myself at a local big box store, The employee told me to check Amazon and I found this string. I wanted one that was black to blend in with the light wire and the stainless inner cable means I won't get rust stains on my vinyl siding at the connection points. For securing to the building I went and picked up some stainless steel hooks that the adjustable tension hooks would connect to on the underside of our overhangs. Looks great and the winds and heavy rain have no impact on the lights.PROS:- Black vinyl coating matches wire color- Stainless inner cable that won't rust in the weather- Includes hardware to make cable end connections and adjustable wire tensionersCONS:- When cutting the cable be careful as the stainless strands are sharp and can poke you easily- Not really a con but I wish it included stainless screw-in hooks as a means of attachment in addition to or as a replacement for some of the other mounting options

Overall very pleased with the quality and the kit price is fantastic vs purchasing individual components.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great hardware kit for hanging your string lights at a long distance. The hardware is stainless steel and solid. The wire feels solid and appropriately sized. The sheathing thickness on the cables is a good quality. Planning your runs and confirming your hardware usage prior to starting will allow you to be prepared for your job. More than likely you will need more cable ties if you are running more than two sets of 48’ long string lights. This kit also includes twist ties but I opted to get more cable ties locally. The turnbuckles allow you to tighten or loosen the cables if they stretch or you make the cables a little too long. I had no difficulty installing the cable run other than getting up and down the ladder. A second set of hands would help but is not required. Id recommend this set to support your strong lights.
