Much, much prettier than the picture indicates. As noted in the description they are 8mm. So the picture makes them seem like they might be bigger, but I think it’s a close up to show the details of the stone. Anyway, I wasn’t expecting them to be bigger because I read the description, but I know how sometimes that can escape your notice. So, keep in mind these are small hearts not big ones. That said these are truly stunning! The uniformity in size and shape is excellent. The crackling in the stones creates an almost druzy like effect with some subtle tiny rainbow flash. I already have several earring designs in mind for these! And let me tell you this: I work pretty much exclusively with gemstones and I work with all kinds of gemstones from the least expensive to quite pricey. These little crackle quartz heart beads look far more expensive and upscale than they are! The picture really doesn’t do them justice! I really thought I might be disappointed in these because I wasn’t sure if I’d like them in person or if they’d look cheap, but I couldn’t be more pleased with these. I’m just beyond impressed with them. If you like hearts and you’re on the fence about buying these, GET THEM. You won’t be disappointed. They’re truly gorgeous little stones! Nicely packaged too! I was hoping they would arrive before they did- wanted to use them in bracelets I made, but I had to make them with out the beads, they are cute. but took forever and arent what I thought.. so a 3 star rating... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pros and cons *by L***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2020* I do really like these beads. However, the 6 mm are a little small to act as a good spacer, I've found I much prefer the 8 mm. Also, in the photo, it looks like you get a strand each of these beads while in fact you get one strand with about (not in front of me) 20 of each. So to have an amount sufficient for my needs, I'd have to order a quantity of 3-4.
