These walker glide skis are really great! They work very well, very durable, and are very easy to install on the walker legs.

We have hardwood, carpet and tile in the house with metal or wood edges between. We also a brick driveway and sidewalk. Conventional caps caught on the bricks and room changes. They also did poorly on carpet. The little skis were simple to install and see sturdy. I would recommend them over tennis balls or the factory caps. Took only a couple minutes ( to find my proper screwdriver) and then install them. Only two weeks but looks like they will well outlast the several week healing period.

These ski feet replace the gray rubber ones by fitting inside the legs. They adjust to the leg size by tightening a screw. They slide along carpet to give a smoother walk, but are recommended for both inside and outside use on concrete sidewalks. They are made of polyester and kind of scrape on concrete. They will wear down eventually, but should last longer than the Teflon-type round caps that are on the market. If you need a walker that will grip the floor with pressure, you may need to stick with the rubber caps for safety. These ski feet allow faster forward movement if you are able. They are reasonably priced. My husband says they give him more freedom of movement as he walks.
