Wanted to up the game by getting a nicer finish and this has had good video reviews. This is much nicer than the water based polys I had been using! This applies even and coverage good combined with well sanded pieces. Sanded to 220-320G is about right. This has a slight yellow tint so it makes the wood warmer looking. I use a 5cc syringe to place drops on the surface of my small pieces then rub cross grain using a cotton cloth. That 5cc of this has been enough to cover about a 12x12" area easily depending how dry the wood is. After the first coat, a light sanding with 600 or 1000G to catch any risers-dust that may have become stuck during the process. This small can will go a long way with my projects. The purple heart I put this on is really beautiful following. Have also had it an birdseye maple, curly maple, walnut, cherry with excellent results. On a few cherry pieces it was blotchy but that's part of working with cherry. Does not take a lot to achieve nice results either. Review: Better than poly - Can is small but works well.
