Great look and easy to apply!
I'm a lazy type so have used a range of poly type finishes and those are ok. Wanted to up the game by getting a nicer finish and this has had good video reviews. This is much nicer than the water based polys I had been using! This applies even and coverage good combined with well sanded pieces. Sanded to 220-320G is about right. This has a slight yellow tint so it makes the wood warmer looking. I use a 5cc syringe to place drops on the surface of my small pieces then rub cross grain using a cotton cloth. That 5cc of this has been enough to cover about a 12x12" area easily depending how dry the wood is. After the first coat, a light sanding with 600 or 1000G to catch any risers-dust that may have become stuck during the process. This small can will go a long way with my projects. The purple heart I put this on is really beautiful following. Have also had it an birdseye maple, curly maple, walnut, cherry with excellent results. On a few cherry pieces it was blotchy but that's part of working with cherry. Does not take a lot to achieve nice results either.

A Natural Looking Finish!
Used this to finish a white oak table. It was relatively easy to apply. I used white scrubbing pads cut to 1.5” squares to work it into the wood with a circular motion. I wiped it off with a lint free cloth. Make sure you wipe it down until it is no longer tacky. Working in sections, only leave it on about 15 minutes. 2 coats is usually enough. I like to wear latex gloves while applying, to protect my hands as it is sticky. It is a penetrating finish that hardens/strengthens the top layer of wood fibers. It is not a finish that sits on the wood, like a varnish. It leaves the wood looking more natural than a urethane or varnish. It is very beautiful!

straight-up good product
Good stuff! My woodworker buddy pointed me to this, and it did not disappoint. Two coats and the coffee table looks better than new now!

Great product bad price
I liked that it was easy to apply, and it really made the wood grain pop out. Just what I was looking for. The price it expensive. Would be the only negative thing.

My favorite finish by far.
You'll find the same opinion all over the internet: the simplest thing in the world to apply, with a beautiful finish that lets the wood shine through. This is a small amount, true. But it's more than enough for a good-sized table. It's definitely durable, but if it is marred, repairing the finish is a simple as applying it in the first place.

This does a wonderful job of bringing out the beauty of wood. BUT
Although this oil does a really good job of finishing the wood and bringing out the beauty of the wood, it is outrageously overpriced. I paid $30 for a teeny, tiny can of this oil. I'd like to keep using OSMO but I refuse to pay their inflated prices when there are suitable alternatives.

Easy to work with
Easy to work with, clear coated a barn door, and a fireplace mantle.
