Leonard Ravenhill’s book on revival praying is a pleading call for the church to return to prayer. Genuine, Spirit-inspired, Spirit-infused prayer. He pleads with the earnestness and urgency that you get caught up in it. May the church of today heed his message and take up the mantle of a real prayer-warrior for God.A note on editing: it requires a lot of work. Misspellings, improper capitalization and other imperfections make the reading a little frustrating at times. Nowhere near as bad as one edition of Sodom Had No Bible, but still should be addressed. Would have given this book 5 stars had the editing been improved. Still worth the read and more importantly, applied in our lives.

Another fantastic book by Leonard Ravenhill. It's strange, I started reading his books in order to find a book to use for a book study on revival for my church. This would be a fine book to use for that, but if can be summed up in one word. PRAY! Now that's not to say there's not a lot of useful information here, and in truth it's one of the most inspirational books I have read, but the basic point is revival is not coming unless we,the church, earnestly commit to real and concerted prayer. This book will be highly beneficial to your prayer life. It is extremely convicting without being hopeless. One of the best books on prayer I have ever read, now I just need to apply it. The only negative I can give on this book is that in the entry for this Kindle version, there are quite a few typos. Nothing that makes it unreadable.

I like all of Leonard Ravenhill's works. I am pleased to finally see this book digitized for Kindle. I am disappointed however, with the poor formatting and editing of many words. Often "from" is spelled as "form". As in the excerpt below, "third" should be thirty and "won" should be own. These things require me to reference the hardcopy to see if this was edited correctly."For some third [thirty] years my father spent every Sunday afternoon visiting the sick in the infirmary at Leeds, England. This book certainly challenges you to examine your life and priorities regarding the importance of praying for the souls of men.

Oh that the church of the living God would return to prayer and not the present entertainment…this book, other than the Word of God is a must read for the body of Christ.

This most excellent work of Brother Ravenhill would be 5 stars, if not for the very many typographical errors in the digital translation. I had to read it with the hard copy close by.ie santa for satan pg71 is just a minor one of manyIt made it extremely difficult to understand the context of a multitude of sentences.I highly recommend the digital editor to proof read this edition and correct the many errors.EZ

I love reading this book. It's a must read for every devoted Christian who wants to live in the power of the Holy Spirit. Just buy it, this book is priceless. It was written by the Holy Spirit, if you have Him within you - you will recognize His voice through these pages and in every book by Leonard Ravenhill. I bought all of them.

This is an excellent book with a message to be heeded. However, the text needs to be proof-read and corrected because there are many, many typos. If these are corrected, then a five-star rating is warranted.

I definitely recommend this book for every Christian, regardless of the stage of your walk with Christ. From the beginner to the pastor, this book will help you understand why prayer is so important and powerful that it alone can bring revival, even in this day and age.

Great book. Worth reading at least once.
