I think it will last a few years with moderate use. It's definitely soft but you have to manage foam filler to keep the shape. Now about the color - this was my main concern. The description says "beige", well, in my opinion it's more on a pink-peach side rather than beige. It's maybe confusing because the video clearly shows the creamy beige color and the stock photos - dark dusty pale pink, BUT it neither of these (please see my photos). It's a warm shade but more peachy pink, very nice in my opinion. Doesn't look 'dirty' at all.I think it will be great for a baby girl room or teen room too, but depending on decor will also go well with light furniture room like sun room or even basement theater room.
