They are made of microfiber, but the texture is different than what I'm used to seeing. You can see in the pictures it makes them look really pretty and it also wicks away the moisture from the hair. With cheaper microfiber towels after you wrap them and secure them sometimes you get drips that run down your forehead but these towels are thick-that in combination with the texture makes it almost feel like a barrier when you wrap them, I noticed that I didn't have any drips run down my forehead. It really helps because typically I use these towels after I get out of the shower and need to immeadiately get ready, so While my hair is wrapped up chillin it doesn't get water all over my make up as I put it on. I used to think that the quality of a hair towe; didnt make whole lot of difference, but it really does help and they are so soft MY daughter and I both have long hair (hers is almost to her waist.) and we love them, It is a hell of a lot better than using two towels every time we shampoo our hair. It wasn't too cheap or too expensive compared to other brands.3) It looked to be thick and well made.These towels are definitely thick and well made and absorb the moisture of my hair very well in comparison to t-shirts or normal terry cloth towels both of which would leave my hair DRIPPING wet even after several minutes of having my hair wrapped up in them. These towels however, do a great job at absorbing most of the water from my hair which means that I don't have to worry about my hair getting my clothes wet. The fabric is so soft and the product is easy to use. I have long hair, and bought this product with the intent to keep it out of the way and help it dry faster while getting ready. I also wanted to wear it to bed to help my hair dry if I showered at night and went to bed with it still pretty damp. I love how, once my hair is rolled into it and it is secured, it stays nicely secured on top of my head and I don't have to hold it when I bend or do anything. I don't have to worry about it spontaneously opening and sending hair or towel falling everywhere. It is 1000% better than just having a regular towel on my head. However, I did not find that it had magical quick-drying properties for my hair. Maybe it is because my hair is very thick, but I found the drying time to be pretty comparable to a towel. I also lightly pre-dry with a towel before wearing. Like I said, it stays on incredibly well. It is soft and easy to use. Those things by themselves are awesome. I would have given it 5 stars had it not clained extra-fast drying abilities, which is a main reason I purchased it and a property I did not find it to have. I would recommend this product anyway to replace using a towel on your head.
