They were HORRIBLE. First thing off the bat was the design on them was pretty terrible. They came in a nice little bag which was cute, but the strap to velcro it over the top of your shoe should of allowed the ice cleats to stay in place. IT DIDN'T. I had to go track my steps back to figure out where I lost both of them....after nearly going down on my rear end on the ice. I did find them. I put them back on again thinking maybe I did something wrong. Seriously after about 15 steps, the darn things came off again. I couldn't believe it. There's a rubber plastic piece that should go over the top/toe part of your shoe, and another rubbery plastic piece that should attach it to the back and then from there, the velcro that goes over the top of your shoe should be like the "added security" right? Yeah, well I was wrong. I bought 2 of these and I sent them both back. Save your money and find something else...anything else...a box taped to your shoe is likely more able to stay on than these things. I wasn't even going through deep snow. I just wanted to go get to my mailbox. It shouldn't of been an ordeal....but it was. More time was spent hunting them down in the snow than in getting to the mailbox. Seriously they really are "that bad" and I'm a real live person. I wasn't given these for free. Oh and the ice cleat part on the bottom was also pretty filmsy. I think the whole thing needs to be redesigned honestly because they are just junk. Flimsy junky shoe cleats and it's not even like they are super cheap. There is lots of ice around at the moment, but I walked carefully and was very optimistic. They were really holding. I got about a third of the way down my driveway when the part that slips over the heel came off causing my right foot to slide while the other foot stayed in place. I have some very sore muscles tonight.
