These are great to wear as face masks as long as you double them for better protection. Recently learned that single layer neck gaiters alone are not enough protection from dust particles or viruses (if intended for CV-19 protection).My job requires that I wear a mask daily due to pandemic though I am not in contact with people. These are great as a maks if you find traditional masks hurt your ears over a long period of time. I also use them as a headbands for doing outdoor work or workouts and plan to use them as a multifuntional neck scarf/mask in the winter.I have had them for over a month and wash them regularly.
