Now give us the tv series in blu ray
This is perfect for both Japanese and English customers. Everything on it and the menus is bilingual. Dialogue and subtitles come in both languages. You even get a Japanese booklet and separate English booklet. Picture quality of course is perfect. The only thing you could complain about is that they didn't give the English dubs a 5.1 surround sound option, it can only do stereo while the Japanese dialogue gets both. Lastly the packaging material does feel very paper like. Regardless, the style of the packaging is extremely elegant.

実写版や他のアニメ作品はすきだが、個人的にこの作品の絵のタッチや声が好きになれず評価を低くした。内容も京都編を観た後だったので、インパクトがイマイチと感じた。

るろうに剣心らしさはあるオリジナル作品
二重の極みと天翔龍閃が出てくる(天翔龍閃は名前だけですが)ので京都編後が舞台なのでしょうが、斎藤がごく普通に剣心と接しているのでパラレル作品という扱いでしょうか？張は出て来ません。 他の方のレビュー通り人が死にすぎで剣心が突き技を使うことに疑問はあるものの、全体として幕末の悲壮感がよく伝わって来たのでその点は良いと思います。 絵柄にやや監督の個性が出ていますが、キャラデザやキャラ性は旧作のTVアニメ版から地続きでるろうに剣心らしさはしっかりと感じられます。 また斎藤ファンとしては剣心達と直接関わらないスポットライトが当たらないところで密偵として暗躍する斎藤の姿が具体的に描かれている今作は非常に貴重に感じ、その一点のみでも⭐︎5をつけてよいとすら考えます。 しかしながら何度も繰り返される回想バンクシーンはあまりにもくどく、今作が評価を落とす一番の原因でしょう。 また紙芝居的な場面や人物の作画崩れも一部あり、おそらくは京都編の方に予算が割かれてこちらにはあまり力を入れていなかったのでしょう。 そのため到底手放しで絶賛出来るクオリティではなく、るろうに剣心の劇場版アニメとしては⭐︎5から−1の⭐︎4が妥当だと考えます。 私は好きですが、今作に"るろうに剣心"を求めるかアニメーションとしてのクオリティを求めるかによって評価が割れそうな難しい作品です。

『るろうに剣心』アニメ映画オリジナルストーリー
『るろうに剣心 維新志士への鎮魂歌』(1997年)は、るろうに剣心のアニメ映画オリジナルストーリーで展開されます。 オリジナルストーリーというと映画用に作られた安易なストーリーと思いがちですが、みてみるとしっかりとしたストーリー展開になっていて面白い作品です。わたしも作品を視聴していましたが、本編100分あっという間にすぎてしまいました。 明治11年(1878年)、腰の逆刃刀に不殺を誓い、人々の幸せを守るため闘い続ける男『緋村剣心』 亡き同胞の想いを胸に、新たなる維新を目指し反乱を企てる男『時雨滝魅』 剣心の“飛天御剣流”と時雨の“斎鬼鹿沼流” 最強の刃の壮絶なぶつかり合いは、幕末の因縁に繋がっていたのだ。 かつて、薩長会談の護衛をしていた剣心 その薩長会談に参加している西郷隆盛、木戸孝好等を暗殺しようと行動する高槻厳達たち 剣心は、互いの正義を貫く為に高槻厳達を手にかける。その高槻厳達の意志を受け継いでいるものこそ時雨だったのだ…… 互いに厳達の想いを受け継いだ時雨と剣心。 しかし、時雨は厳達の想いを実現する為に新しい維新を起こそうと反乱に及び、剣心は厳達の想いを受けて若者たちが犠牲になる世の中にしない為に時雨の前に立ちはだかる。 時雨にも厳達を殺されたということへの私怨はもはやない。 時雨は語る。 ｢幕末の時代は、混沌としていて、いずれが正義でいずれが悪かはわからなかった。だが、皆純粋だった。｣と。 だが、維新がなるや新政府はその大義を忘れて政府高官は腐敗堕落していった。だからこそ、新しい維新が必要だと時雨は主張し、剣心はその為に若者たちをまた犠牲にすることは許されないと主張する。 そこにあるのは、二つの正義であり、いずれにも正当性はあった。だが、より厳達の想いを強く受け継いでいた剣心が死合には勝利して、幕末からの因縁にピリオドは打たれた。 裏で糸を引いていた輩も捕縛された。 だが、時雨は亡くなり、明治政府の腐敗と矛盾だけが残った。 維新志士たちがつくろうとした新しい時代とは何だったのか？その矛盾と疑問を幕末から生き残ってきた者の責任として剣心が受け継いでいかなければならない哀しいストーリー。 漫画でも描かれなかったもうひとつの『るろうに剣心』をぜひご覧ください。(2018.4.13記)
