Ebony Grand Piano Bench Stool with Music Storage

I really wish I had the money for a ~$1000 Jansen artist series leather bench, but I don't. I'm also a very heavy guy, so I was wary of trying a "budget" vinyl/cheap leather adjustable height bench, even ones from this same company/distributor that have good reviews. That left more traditional fixed height benches, because I didn't want a cheap folding X-style keyboard bench and wanted something made of wood that looked nice and kept a traditional aesthetic.I'm happy to say that this bench was a great buy for only $100. I'm only 20lbs short of the listed weight limit, but it holds me just fine; I've even shifted around aggressively and sat down hard on it quickly over and over, giving it lots of chances to show its true colors if it was going to creak or groan or fail completely and send me to floor. It's passed my early torture tests with flying colors. Also, it is surprisingly comfortable, even for big folks!I don't ever plan to disassemble my bench, and obviously with use, the bolts are likely to slowly come use. I opted to disassemble the bench and then reinstall the legs using JB Weld on the threads and a couple places under the seat in certain areas. I'm confident this should last *at least* a few years, so this was a good deal and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bench to anyone, as long as the height works for them. Obviously, I'll update this review if this bench turns out to be a piece of junk, but early impressions indicate this bench is perfect!

Excellent bench. I spent hours researching what piano bench to get that would be good quality, look nice, and not cost a fortune. There seemed to be a lot of really inexpensive ones and then a few expensive ones but almost nothing 'in between'. I went for this as it was the only one that looked really good online and had no 1 or 2 star reviews. And I am super happy I did - it cost more than I wanted to pay but it's totally worth every penny. It looks just PERFECT in front of my beautiful Yamaha black gloss upright.....

My wife loves this. The look, feel, style etc. I was afraid it would be extremely poor quality, but it turned out to be fine. The next level up in piano benches start around $375. My wife is average size, but I'm close to 300lbs. If it was for me, I'd probably go the expensive route. I've sat on it and it seemed solid, but I'm not sure if it would hold up over time with my weight on it.

It's easy to set up, super sturdy, and comfortable. I often sit for a few hours at a time and I find it comfortable. It looks stylish under the piano, and the under seat storage is ample. Look no further.

This bench is awesome, I was expecting a wood look to the outside, however it is really shiney. Like a expencive plastic deal but not sure how else to describe it. Im glad it was on sale or I would not have gotten it, worth the money I paid by sell price but I would never pay full price for it. It's very comfortable and the hight is nice for my digital piano, its not a portable piano in case you were wondering, and it has lots of storage space which is nice because I also own a flute and can finally keep everything in one spot. The seller was extreamely fast on shipping which is why I was so pleased, it got here 6 days early! Thanks much I love it.

Does the job but I was expecting dark wood and this looks lacquered. Too shiny for what I needed.

This piano stool is beautiful . It looks expensive . It is very sturdy .It is well worth the price.I am very pleased .

Very nice. I have a digital piano with a satin finish and they look good together. A good length for an adult and child to share space. Should be longer if you hope to have two adults side by side. Assembled easily, although it doesn't seem super sturdy, it will do just fine.
