They work great and it tells you what size hole to drill , wish they came with self tapping stainless screws also !

U can get a shoreline brand cheaper and with prime shipping. The lights look the same. Other, then this ones cover covers the screws But! More on the other light later. This light to me is better! I've gotten both and using both. I will flat out tell u this one is better for.. In boat deck lighting! It's easy on the eyes very professional look and feel to it! Very pleased with the color, inviting low glow with plenty of output. You have the ability to use your lights while under power without being distracted. It puts the light on the floor where it's needed, great cut off so it's not shining in the eyes. Over all very happy. No screws with this light to mount it. You have to go source them if u buy this light. Also like another said the screws heads if not flushed lower then the lights screw holes the cover will not go on. I used a way smaller screw then I thought I needed to, and they where almost to large. I per drilled the holes and still had to tighten down more then I wanted to, to get the screws down enough to get the cover on. Be very careful over tighten. u will break the thin plastic on this light. I use stainless screws also. Little bit about the shore-line brand it to is a nice little light about the same in brightness . So if u want more light its a toss up really but I do like this one better. I feel the shore line light is better suited for a hatch, locker, or a storage compartment due to its over brighting bluish light. I plan to paint my shore-line lights cover to match my boat like I did this light. It came in white and the light shines threw it. The paint should help with the lights bleeding. Oh and it's going in my back hatch on a magnet switch with the batteries and gas tank so light color is not going to matter in there. I feel it's color is just a bit to bluish for my deck lighting, to distracting on the upper deck. And I want all the lights colors to match. Thanks for reading hope this review helps.PS: Make sure u turn the bulbs facing down! U wanna be able to see all three bulbs shining when it's on. If not, your not going to get nearly as much light output. As the lights cover is going to covering the lights. And make sure the face plate cover is turned the right way, not covering the light, and shinning the light upwards.

We used this to put a little bit of light down low on the deck to make it easier to get around during night fishingtrips. This would be great to light up a few steps leading down to a sleeping berth or anywhere a smaller amountof light would help. It's LED, so uses a minimum amount of juice from the battery.

The light is small and puts light where you want it. The cover comes off if you want to paint it to match what it is mounted in. Lots of white light. Simple. Love it!

Checked and they all work great. No hard ware in package, expect the need to purchase.

If you going to install it on any surface that has covering like grip vinyl, short outdoor shag, the stuff that you would find lined inside a bass boat..Forget About It! The frame will distort regardless of how lightly you screw it down and the faceplate won’t stay on unless you glue it. The lens popped off just handling it and fit poorly so how could this even be water resistant? Forget washing your boat. If they were $3 each maybe, but not worth what I paid when YOU have to improve on it. If you’re still buying them, you will need #6 flat heads, not oval or domed or the faceplate won’t go on.

The light provides a decent amount of light

Perfect compact light. Using on boat to light up small area for baiting purposes. Bright led's. They are easy to mount with 2 screws and 2 wires. Looks great and is slim looking and not noticeable until turned on. Installed on side of bench seat on 14ft aluminum.
