High quality
If you want a quality salmon oil, this is where you need to go. I started out with cheaper farm-raised salmon oils before finding out that farmed salmon has high levels of PCB and dioxins which can cause cancer and diabetes. This vital choice brand is a lot more expensive but for the quality that you get it is well worth it. The salmon is wild caught and the tablets are a bright orange color like the color of real salmon. Most of the other brands you will find the salmon oil is clear or yellow - not the color of real salmon. Vital choice is definitely the Mercedes-Benz of salmon oil supplements.

Dr Sears Recomendation- Great product

Salmon oil is better
I changed from regular fish oil caplets to this salmon oil. I know there is a vast difference in the outcome with my dog, so why shouldn't I be on it? We will see at my next lab results.

Passed the test
I always do the Styrofoam cup test on all my fish oil products to check for purity, this one passed the test. The ratio of DHA/EPA is also a good indicator. There are so many fish oil products that are full of chemicals or fake stuff, be careful and always test them.

Omega 3 vital choice
It is working for my problem with arthritis. The soft gels are big but easy to sallow.

Skin pigmentation reaction
I got these because someone told me their knees were really helped by them. One day I noticed dark spots on my face: two lines along my nose, a round spot on my forehead and a large area of one of my eyelids. After some days, I wondered if it was these pills as they were the only change to my diet - although I had only taken them for about ten days. So I stopped and within a few days the spots were gone. Well, I wanted to be sure so after a month I began to take them again. Yes, the spots came back. So I stopped taking them, threw the pills in the garbage and my spots left. This is not to say you'll get spots, but I'm just putting this out there so you can keep an eye out for spots!
