Red Lion Amaryllis Kit - Great Gift - Large Bulb, Pot and Potting Medium

Although the amaryllis took a little long to bloom…when they did the bloom there were 4 beautiful red flowers on each of 3 separate stalks. Guests have been admiring them for over 3 weeks.

This was a Christmas gift.

When my amaryllis arrived the bud had already started growing and i found it broken off in the bottom of the box. I contacted the seller and within the hour they contacted me with a full refund, telling me not to return the amaryllis, and to proceed with planting as it was very likely it would bloom. Kudos to this company for this customer service. i would definitely buy from them again.

I have been waiting 3 months and have seen zero growth. It's a complete dud. This is the first time I have purchased one of these on Amazon instead of the hardware store. Guess I've learned my lesson. I'm throwing it out tomorrow. Do not buy this here. Completely defective. I see that other reviewers have said the same.

I've successfully grown Amaryllises during the Holidays for years, but always from another provider. This bulb was so slow to show signs of life that I nearly returned it. Still nowhere near flowering, but there's hope...

I give one of these to my Mother in Law for the holidays every year. She loves watching them grow and bloom. I get the double benefit of watching her joy and then getting it afterward so I can plan it in my garden.

This is the perfect plant for a long cold winter. I modified the base by taking the original pot and buried it into a deeper clay pot filled with soil. I believe it took about 2 or 3 weeks before flowers started to bloom. In all it bloomed 7 flowers. It has another stem coming up so I believe there will be more flowers. I purchased 2 of these plants and gave one as a gift. Her stems were much taller than mine but the flowers were just as beautiful as mine. They make great gifts. I would order them again.

I love this kit! I received it as a gift and it grew beautifully when planted. My plant ended up growing three bulbs, which all bloomed together. I have had this plant for a year now, and it is still alive and well.I do not have a green thumb, so this kit's ease and success was exciting for me. I would definitely buy again, and recommend - especially those who are beginners or not usually good at keeping plants.
