Use Cut Rite Wax Paper for many years, great for wrapping sandwiches for lunch or picnics.

The Reynolds Cut-Rite brand of wax paper has been my only choice for decades. The paper is substantial, and never flimsy, so stands up to any task. Definitely worth the money.

CutRite Wax Paper isn't available anymore. In that long aisle full of foil, plastic wrap, zipper bags, paper plates, and napkins don't even bother looking for wax paper. This is the only way I can buy it. I use it to decorate cakes, cover plates in the microwave, and hold breadcrumbs when I'm coating meat. The package came intact, wrapped together within its shipping bag, and the containers were intact--important when you will use the cutting edge to dispense your rolls.

It was just what I was looking for....I use it for placing sheets of it between the pages during the process of book binding. It doesn't stick and protects the pages from glue while being in the book press.

I love this wax paper. For years I could only buy it in the US and if friends were going and asked me what I wanted, this was the answer (sad, I know)! But, whoppee, now you can get it here and it is so good for a huge number of things. The most obvious being cheese. Cling film shouldn't be used to wrap cheese, or any high-fat content food because the fats react with the cling-film and break it down. With cheese in particular, the plastic nature of the cling film prevents cheese from breathing and can contribute to sweating. For that reason, and that alone, I would buy this wax paper. If you like cheese as I do, at room temperature, this is perfect, not only for storing, but also for when the cheese is warming up. If it runs a bit (depending on the cheese type of course) the wax paper is the perfect surface on which to do it. This is also really useful for wrapping sandwiches, wraps, buns/cakes, any lunchbox item really. Put a role in your kitchen drawer - you won't regret it.
