100cc Oxygen Absorbers - Packs of (100) Scavengers (1, 3, 5, and 10) (3)

This DID THE JOB PERFECTLY! The 1st time I used them, I used over half the scavenger packets. But what I learned is that once the main package is opened (which is a very thick 5-7.5mil poly bag), if its not vacuum-packed and resealed ASAP, the leftover O2 Scavengers are almost barely effective. It took me 10-15 minutes to vacuum & reseal the leftover unused packet... When I came around to using them, I noticed that they never got warm, let alone as hot as the 1st time I used them. So lesson learned. Btw, package did have an O2 indicator that was obviously visible but I don't recall checking the 2nd time around what it showed.

Wish they came packaged in sets of 10, but will sort that out. Otherwise, these work great so far.

This oxygen absorbers are so great to do food preservation using together with mylar bags. This oxygen absorbers maintain your dry food safe. I'm a teacher and this have been working for me.

Used for prepped supplies. Appear to work well

Came fresh with oxygen indicator. Keep in mind that the oxygen absorbers are bulk packaged so be sure to have an air tight container to preserve the ones you don’t use. I used my vacuum sealer and vacuum sealed the remainder.

We bought this product to go along with our vacuum sealer and canning supplies we had bought to help keep the food we store fresh for longer. They work exactly as expected!

Buying in the 5 pack is a better buy and these are great :)

there was no oxygen indicator in the pack. that needed to be in there for the obvious reasons to determine the efficacy of the oxygen absorbers

I frequently use O2 absorbers for Freeze Drying. Sometimes when I need to top up a 400 or 300 cc pack, I will throw a few of these in the bag (hoping they do something!) A few times when I've ran out of my larger O2A's I popped 8 of these 100cc packs in. Nothing happened to the bag at all. No shrinkage. It has happened a few times. Not sure if I got a fault batch or not but probably wont go this route in the future.

Once opened they need to be used up. The ones I wanted to save never worked after the first time opening the bag of absorbers which was odd because they worked in the mylar bags. I resealed them in the original bag they arrived in.

Dissapointed. Half of them didn't work.
