Review: Worth the extra time. - This felt like an odd purchase but we live with agin parents in the basement. Working from home my husband wanted his office to be as sound proof as possible. He is a very loud talker on the phone. (Not sure what that is about, his normal talking voice is fine). But this was very heavy and a little tricky to hang up. Thankfully my husband is super handy so he hung a 2x4 to hang it up and we moved it down as we attached to the ceiling. A little extra work but worth it. Held up well while we hung it up. They cannot hear him on the phone which is amazing.
Review: Good - Awesome, keeps the sound down to a minimum but doesn’t really cancel it all the way out.

**Q: What do you use to hang it with.**
A: Peacemaker is designed to be installed between layers of drywall or another rigid structure, or directly over studs, behind a layer of drywall. To attach Peacemaker, you would want to use either staples or finishing nails.

**Q: Can I use this to deaden the sound of my stainless steel kitchen sink?**
A: Stainless steel sinks ALL vibrate and are horrid with a garbage disposal. I would use one of the automotive tar-like sheet products, two layers thick, or many coats of truck bed spray coating. This rubber stuff here is effective but it needs protection; it’s not the stuff for under sinks.

**Q: Does this product have a strong smell if put ontop of drywall**
A: I have not noticed any odor.

**Q: can this be used as a less expensive option compared to MLV for a soundproofing an air compressor?**
A: I pulled a hollow interior door apart, put a layer of this soundproofing material inside the door, and then put the door back together again to reduce noise coming from one room into the rest of the house.  It did reduce the noise, but it did not eliminate it.  I do not know about soundproofing an air compressor.

It is a pain to cut evenly without special tools but not impossible, however even installed directly to the walls with sound tiles over it(as in the photo) it works pretty well at reducing noise outside and inside. Fedex lost one package in my order for about two weeks. I contacted the company and the replacement arrived promptly. 👍
