These candles instead give off more of a warm white, and provide a very convincing display - all without the risk real candles. The timer function is especially useful.The only downside is the melted wax is a little too 'clean' looking on close inspection, but only if you're up close.I have a mixture of these candles and Lights4Fun's TruGlow candles on timers around my home, which come on at the same time every day, and they provide great ambience. Personally, I prefer these to the TruGlow candles, as they do not have a visible faux flame when switched off.The attached video shows one candle from this listing (on the left) next to a candle from the TruGlow range (on the right), for comparison. They are bigger than I expected, a real pillar candle width, my friends loved them and have bought inferior ones at twice the price.Great and safe for a candlelit bath and will not ignite if hairspray or deoderent used. I've also got 2 on the fire surround without them setting fire to anything while I'm distracted or doing stuff in other rooms.
