Nexxus VitaTress Biotin (ONE) Shampoo 33.8 oz/ one Liter

I've been using the Biotin shampoo for almost a year now and I found it to provide a thorough, gentle cleaning of my hair and scalp and, when used as directed, hair feels stronger, thicker and, of course, clean. I don't believe I will be getting back to my my previous brand (Nexxus Therape). While more expensive, the Biotin shampoo appears to be the best for my hair so far - for some background, I have a full head of hair but it's in the process of thinning and maybe my forehead advanced by half an inch in the past 10 years :) so I'm a lot more conscious of what washes my hair now than I was 10 years ago.Biotin is part of the VitaTress line of products, designed for those whose hair is in the process of thinning. It is claimed that Biotin eliminates excess sebum, strengthens hair and adds thickness and body to it. I concur with these claims. When use as directed - massage into hair and scalp and let it stay there for THREE MINUTES before rinsing - the hair comes out literally 'squeaky clean'. It really squeaks if you rub your hand on your wet hair, or it does so for me. There is absolutely no feeling of discomfort while using the shampoo. Once the hair dries, it feels significantly stronger and thicker and it looks healthier and more alive than before the Biotin treatment. The other claim, that this shampoo slows or reverses hair loss I can't verify. Maybe I'll come back in a year or 2 and discuss share my findings but, as of now, all I can say is that my hair looks and feels better after I wash it with Biotin.Additional facts worth sharing:- A bottle this size is likely to last for many months so, while the price is high, it's not THAT high when spread over 4 to 6 months.- While it's not stated anywhere, it seems to act as a conditioner. I would not use use a conditioner after Biotin myself.- The 'pump' bottle is very convenient because it helps you get the proper amount without waste and it prevents water from the shower from diluting the contents.- For what is worth, the ingredients include: Jojoba oil, Biotin, Cysteine, Inositol and Methionine plus DHT inhibitors.- Other ingredients include: Ginseng root extract, Ginkgo Bilboa extract, Swertia Japonica extract, Palmaria Palmata extract and so forth.I will continue to use Biotin until I am made aware of a superior product. Until then, I am happy with it.

When I hit my mid to late forties, I began noticing that my hair was thinning a bit and seemed to be losing it's softness. I wasn't balding, but my hair just didn't seem right. I had never really given much thought to the particular shampoos I used (price usually drove my decision), so I decided to try using a number of the "more expensive" shampoos. Unfortunately, none seemed to really help. I then tried the VitaTress Biotin Shampoo by Nexxus. Wow, what a difference. Within a few weeks, my hair seemed softer again and it felt much thicker. My barber even commented about how thick my hair was.I'm not saying that this stuff is some miracle cure, or anything, but it really seemed to work for me and for my particular problem. I have been using this for probably 15 years now, and I continue to be very pleased with the results. Two or three times over the years I tried other shampoos, but the brittleness and thinning problem started to return. As soon as I went back to the VitaTress Biotin, though, I saw a significant improvement. I'm sold and I now buy in large sizes and quantities to make sure I don't ever run out. Even take a small bottle with me when I travel.On the negative side, the stuff can be relatively expensive. In recent years, I've been buying it online and I look for sales before I run too low.

back in 2014 I've been using this product even put someone my friends and co workers about this shampoo and it works wonders. now in 2024 I can't understand why they would put this shampoo for $500 when it was under $20 few years ago. I will have to look for another biotin shampoo affordable but if ever for some strange reason the price drop back down even for $30 I will definitely buy back again.

I wish I knew about this shampoo years ago!I purchased this shampoo about a month ago, and I'm LOVING IT. As someone else said, it does what it says, and that is the types of products I love. I used to use Head & Shoulders shampoo, and conditioner because it did make my scalp, and hair feel good but, it was also stripping my hair out.On top of that, I damaged my hair really bad back in either '00 or '01 by letting someone else put in a super relaxer that I bought just because I wanted my hair to be "super straight", and because I was getting tired of trying to manage my beautiful, and naturally curly hair that is also difficult to manage.Because I listened to the person that put the relaxer in my hair, and left it in a little longer, the relaxer burned my hair, scalp, gave me a receding hairline, and thinned my hair out making it weak. I could hair the crunching, and sizzling sound. The point is, after I shaved my head again (as I've done many times before), the biotin shampoo is slowly but, surely bringing my hair back to how it used to be before the use of the super relaxer that burned, and damaged part of my hair.I also bought a derma roller on here as well to help the blood flow where my hair got mostly damaged, and it's been working! I also love the size of this bottle because it does last. A little goes a long way. Thanks to the people that makes this shampoo, my hair isn't stripping out because it's making my hair healthier, stronger, and thicker!This is my "go to" shampoo from now on. I absolutely love this product - been using it for a number of years and my hairdresser likes what its done to my hair - thicker and more of it. This supplier was the only one in UK that I've found. Go one use it if you have extensive hair lose like I did, it worked first time for me but it takes a while to notice it's full potential. It arrived when it was surpossed to with good packaging. I LOVE IT.

I have always had fine hair, and after trying many shampoo's this is a clear winner for me.Leave it in for 2 to 3 mins and rinse, once you have tried it nothing else will do.Very high quality product.
