Halo Encyclopedia: The Definitive Guide to the Halo Universe Hardcover – 2 Nov. 2009

I bought this about a week ago, it arrived in about 3 days along with some other items I had purchased. I must say that I was very impressed with the book. It is an absolute gem to read. I paid just over £15 for it and I think I got every pennies worth, its full of good information about the halo universe and is absolutely fantastic if you wanted to know about something in particular. The problem I have had with it is that it doesnt provide lots of in depth detail about everything within the halo universe. Having been a fan of the Halo series for years now, quite alot of the content that I was reading wasnt very new to me but it was still a fantastic read and it was very well laid out. I think the best way to sum this up is that if you are a hardcore fan of the series who has read all of the books and knows about every aspect of the halo universe then this book wont tell you anything new but if you are new to the series, perhaps if youve only played one or two of the games and you want to learn some more about the whole of the halo universe then this is an absolutely fantastic book as itll teach you loads of good quality information without boring you or anything. thank you amazon for an amazing book at an amazing price :)

I still remember playing Halo: Combat Evolved for the very first time. WOW!!! This is one fantastic book! Every page is packed with amazing and beautiful artwork from the Halo universe. There's something for everyone whether you're into the tech of halo or into beatiful concept art. The price too! You're paying almost half price for this fantatic piece of print. The quality doesen't disapoint either. Every page is heavy glossy paper and the book its self? Well, you'll need help lifting it! Kidding, but it is a hefty book! Buy it... you won't be disapointed!

All i have to say is that this is a definite buy for any halo fan wanting to know more about the story,and characters from the video games(HALO CE,HALO 2,HALO 3, HALO WARS and ODST), books and comics, with many pages that show great detailed images perfect for sci-fi artists. so please buy it, if you love halo as much as the next fan then you will.

This a great book for any Halo fan., My son has lots of halo lego and he's recently got Halo3 on the xbox- this book is big and very detailed, he;s likes to draw the pics in there and it's great for practising reading! Great buy.....

If a fan or new to the genre due to little chatter boxes raving about Halo, then do all a favour and get the book, it's a large read, view and introduction. You will be glad you did...... at any age, believe me.
