Our two cats love this Tuna Pate grain-free wet food and I like the high quality of Merrick products. We feed our cats half Fromm Tunachovy grain-free dry food and half Merrick Tuna Pate wet food. Cats should not have dry food only and one 5.5 oz. can of this food = 6 servings mixed with dry. I take 1/3 can, heat in microwave for 10 seconds and then split in half to mix with dry for each cat. Sometimes I even put a tiny bit on top of my rescued Maltipoo's dry food to entice her to eat! Our cats will eat canned chicken or turkey if I buy one can every now and then for a change, but they will leave food in the bowl - they NEVER leave food in their bowls when they get the Merrick Tuna Pate!!

In the beginning my cat loved this tuna pate. But now after facing a visit to the vet she has been suffering nearly a week from diarrhea. A few weeks before after digesting a meal of Merrick tuna, she vomited. I thought it was a hairball that caused the incident. But now I have to admit that there is something sadly wrong with this food. Do yourself a favor. Don't buy it!

The only canned cat food I'll buy. Good quality ingredients, just wish they'd leave out the veggies. Cats are obligate predators; they don't need anything but meat (muscle meat, bone, organ meat, and a small amount of fat), preferably raw. But Merrick's is a good substitute.

Our cats love this. It's not their favorite food, but they still like it over other flavors.

My two cats loved this brand and flavor. With the latest order received, they won't touch it. I don't know if it's all bad, but I've tried multiple cans with another kind they like in between. No, they won't eat it. I'm tossing 2 cases, over $60 of food, so I won't take a chance buying any more of this. I see that I'm not the only one who's seen this, and the overall ratings have come down over time, so I guess Merrick's quality isn't as good as it used to be.

Our cat usually gobbles the can of tuna cat food up. This was his favorite wet cat food until I received my last order. The price went up so I didn’t order it for a long time. I got it recently ’cause it went on sale. I’m disappointed because I feel I wasted my money.

I buy the Merrick pate canned food as I have a diabetic cat and she needs grain-free food. She loves this brand. What I like best about it is it mixes well with water. My cats don't like to bite into their wet food, they prefer to lick it up instead. I mix it about half and half with warm water which mixes up well and they eat it all up. Very happy with this product, I repurchase it all the time.

Not that this is bad cat food, but you know how cats are...I have only one cat, and she wouldn't eat this. I opened one can and now can't return it, too bad for me! But I will donate it to poor little kitties looking for a home. I know that SOME cat will eat it! My cat is VERY persnickety when it comes to food. I am trying to get her to eat a grain-free diet, and have mixed some GF dry food into her regular cat food. She is currently on a hunger stike. So don't go by my kitten, the stuff may be great for your cat! I just can't give it the big five based upon the negative opinion given by my Buffy.

I ordered this food because it appears to be a healthy option and the case price is cheaper on Amazon than it is at Rens and PetSmart. However, of my 4 cats only 2 of them will eat a very small amount of this food at a time so I have to give them something else as well because they won't eat just a plate of this, and only once in awhile. If I give it to them more than once a week they won't eat it. That was disappointing because 3 of them will usually eat anything, so I'm guessing it's not one of the better tasting cat foods?? If your cat likes this food then I would definitely recommend buying it from Amazon because the price is great and you don't even have to leave your house to get it!!
