The material of the jacket itself is very soft and the fit was as expected considering I'm a smaller individual. However, even then I'm not swimming in it and if settles nicely. The material itself doesn't feel cheap, but my only comment would be that the draw string of the hood itself is. I'll be fine with it, but it definitely is of a lower quality than the rest of the jacket and other people might like to know that so they can plan to swap it out in advance. It's definitely cozy for warmth too and so works for function and not just fashion.4 stars because while my jacket is otherwise great, the sewing was messed up a little on the connection of the cuff to the sleeve and I had to snip a very large tangle of brown thread off it.
