Great buy. Worth a try for rock, jazz, country, and folk for a few examples. Not super heavy hitters.
Was curios if I would like the grip. It's great. I used to use the tape in the '90s its better then that. Lol! Great feel in general, good balance, the round tip sounds nice, I usually like the nylon tip but it sounds good. Even on the ride I get a nice ping. Usually don't get with a wood tip. Would def recommend, rock jazz they have a good balance for playing soft with control for smaller venues and folk percussionist. Or shots soumd nice.

Great sticks, nice and long with good grip
I use these and the black and white ?uestlove sticks, i like long thinner ones, and generally like the dipped ones, so I don't have to wax sticks.

Great Light Sticks
I play drums in church and our church is a big concrete box that seats about 1,500 or so. In order to try to bring the overall volume down went from Vic Firth Jack Dejohnettes to Rods. Rods are OK for some stuff, but there's just no attack for certain sounds. Switching to traditional grip and these Maple 7As has been absolutely great! The lighter weight of Maple and the 7A size makes controlling the volume easy and all with the attack and control of an actual stick! The dip actually is handy for flipping the sticks over and getting softer cymbal rolls. Kind of wish the dip was not bright green, though. Bottom line, Love them!

like all of you drummers I am in search of ...
like all of you drummers I am in search of 'the perfect sticks'. Once I tried these dipped sticks I knew I could stop looking. I tried several weights and settled on the 7A. I mainly play an electric Roland kit and I like the sound that sticks help me deliver. They last longer on the electric kit with rubber cymbals then when I use them on the Zildians on my acoustic kit.I have tried both nylon and wood tips and prefer the nylon. I estimate a set lasts me 3-4 months before the rubber starts to wear down. Eventually I have to roll it off but I still have a functioning pair. They work fine, but I prefer the rubber coating.I have tried both the black and neon green coatings. No difference other then color. I have also tried several pairs of the 5A size and they performed as well. But overall the 7A fits my playing style.Give them a try. I hope they work for you as well as they have for me.

Light and durable.
For years I have used nylon tip 5A or 5B as my go to sticks for acoustic drums. However, since our church is now using a Roland V set, I find the nylons and the bigger sticks do not sound so good on the mesh heads. Picked up a pair of theses dipped 7A wood tip sticks and the sound of the electronics came to life. I will be buying more to add to the arsenal and find they hold up just fine if your not using a death grip or playing a death metal style. Just saying.

Great for Gitadora Drummania
I use these to play Gitadora Drummania at Round1 and they're very nice. Definitely pleasantly light and the grip is nice without being distracting, I was afraid it'd be super grippy or uncomfortable. In my experience, if you hold too lightly they'll rub against your skin more which could cause discomfort, but it hasn't been an issue for me (and I don't have very tough hands.) I'll usually get a few hours in on a good night and never have comfort issues or blistering. Also the green is a cool look :3

I loved these sticks at first
I loved these sticks at first...6 months later, not so much. I ordered 12 pair when they were on discount and recently, I broke 8 sticks in one evening. If you're playing a live gig and there's a hint of blacklight anywhere on stage, these sticks will glow! It's nice little feature that I wasn't aware of. They're comfortable and cling to the hands nicely, although blisters might appear.
