I was a little nervous using this dog balm on my 7 year old Great Dane because all the reviews were of tiny dogs. But this balm exceeded my expectations. After using it twice a day for only a week, the results are indisputable. His nose went from being dry and cracked to smooth and moisturized. I made sure to get the unscented balm because he is sensitive to strong smells. If your dog has a sensitive nose, I recommend getting the unscented balm for an easier application. Bohdi is a silly boy. The first couple applications he tried to lick the balm off, but after he became used to it there were no problems. Great product for a great dog.

This product does what it says it will do. It truly fixes a dog's dry nose and it does it quickly and safely. I've been buying this product for decades for my Boston Terriers, and it always improves the condition of a dry nose even after just one use. After a few daily uses, things are back to normal.Each of my dogs has always liked to park herself in front of a heat duct on a cold day, and that tends to dry out her little nose. When I notice it's getting dry and ragged looking, I pull out the nose butter and it doesn't take too many applications before she looks (and I'm assuming feels) better. There's nothing in this product that I wouldn't use on myself, so I feel comfortable putting it on my dog's nose.I tried another brand once because I couldn't readily find this one again, and the other brand was so hard that I couldn't get it out of the tin -- It was a complete waste of money. I had to hunt down this Blissful Dog brand again!When you get a new tin of this stuff, you sort of have to break the surface with a fingernail, and from then on when you want to apply it, it comes out of the tin more easily. You just rub you finger around on the nose butter where you've made the divot with your nail, then rub the softened product on your dog. A little bit does the trick! It's best to open the container of nose butter before you get into position to put some on your pup. I just sit in a chair with my Boston sitting in my lap, and hold her around her body with my left arm, keeping her close and tight to my body so that she's immobile. I am right handed, so I get a bit of the product on my right index finder and rub a bit on her nose and then lavish her with kisses and praise. No extra treats needed.I do have to buy a new tin every few years, because it does tend to get old (I notice the scent changes) well before I can use up a container of it. But there are no preservatives in it, so this is expected... And I'd rather use a natural product on my dog and have to buy a new one every few years.My only "complaint" about this product is that the latest tin I bought is a little difficult to open and close. I bought a 1 oz. tin instead of my usual 2 oz. tin, because I never use it up before it starts to get old. I'm not sure if the tin is just too small for my hands or what... It seems like it's threaded wrong. Difficult to open and close, so for me, it's very important that I get the tin opened before calling my dog over. I want the process to be very quick because she doesn't love it when I mess with her nose. I have been buying this product for decades, over the course of the lifetimes of three dogs, and this is the first time I have ever encountered a problem with the container, so I will continue to use this brand. It works!!

I do like this nose butter. I have a boxer that gets that crusty nose, and it works fairly well on her. My only complaint is that the package is horrible to open and close. Too many turns to get it open and too many to get it closed. Sounds like a minor detail but when you're working with your pup and trying to re-secure the cap, it's difficult.

We have a Cane Corso, who had a very dry nose. It was all cracked and bumpy. After three uses of this, her nose looks amazing! All the cracks and bumps are gone. The stuff really works.

My dog has a condition that causes his nose to develop cracks. I've tried a couple of other creams that didn't work. I figured I'd give this cream one last try.I started putting it on my dogs nose. He didn't like it, probably because his nose was sore, but I started seeing improvement within two days. I've used it a couple of times a day for the past week and the results are amazing. The cracks are almost gone. He doesn't even seem to mind as much when I apply it now. I thank you and my dog, Boomer, thanks you. Great product.

Dog nose it! My dog hates this product wipes her nose all over the carpet when I apply it. Don’t know if it stings her or if she just doesn’t like anything on her nose. I have an English bulldog.

I have two smooth Brussels griffons and they are primed to dry noses. This stuff heals it within a few days. Awesome. Also, cheaper to buy on AMazon then on the Bliss web page!

Amazing product

The nose butter helped my dog. Although, the tin lid would not open. Once I prayed it open and wrecked it, I now have to keep in a zip lock baggie. Other than that it’s great!

Our bulldog had a very dry nose. We applied this butter right before meals 3X per day and in less than a week our dog's nose was 100%.Best noise butter ever and the dog did not mind having it on--he never tried to rub it off or lick it continuously, etc.It is truly unscented.Cannot recommend highly enough! Very satisfied!

Have been using it for a week now on my bulldogs EXTREMELY dry cracked nose, and by that i mean real thick dry stuff.I tried so many other creams but this one tops it by far.I saw results as fast as the next day and my dogs nose is healing so nicely.Will order again! Thanks
