It is designed in a way that if maintenance is required whole valve does not require re-plumbing. shower arrived and looked very good had trouble fitting because of my shower cubicle you need rubber or fibre washers to fit thisand to stop any leaks, first test shower was completely cold had to regulate cold water to balance temperature.
