I purchased this book but decided to read the other one I purchased-- which seemed to read more clearly.

Book is in good order. I'm not wild about the cover, but I am wild about the price so I ordered. This edition seems competent and easily understandable for the non-professional philosopher.

In reaching towards freedom of thought, freedom of spirit (philosophical good faith), I'm challenged by the moral and ethical implications. I don't know if I can accept the answers here.

So it's very interesting. As with most philosophers, they're up their own --- but there are truths here, many biases.

This man has a very discerning eye when it comes to morality. Style of writing is quite hard to comprehend at first read. Translation is good. This is probably the best read on nature of morality and its origins. I'd suggest this to anyone who wants a treat and a torture to your thoughts . Go pick it. You dont want to miss this great work of philosophy.

excellent book!

That is the only word to describe this book. It has personally changed the way I perceive the world around me. Its a completely different way of looking at the world, and goes to show that there cannot be one 'truth' in anything, rather all people look at the world the way the truth suits them, as truth is not separate from the individuals self interest. I never thought that a book I am studying at school could have such a profound impact on my life. Wonderful.
