ABC Touch & Feel: B is for Bear: A Very First Book for the Baby You Love (ABC Books)

All 3 of my children, though very different, have loved & been mesmerized by this book! It’s a classic favorite!

All 3 of my children spanning 10 years have loved this book. It's been the favorite from day 1 and continues to be a classic. We can quote the entirety of the book from memory.

This book is absolutely fantastic for little ones.First of all, it's a BIG book. Especially when compared to the typical board book for infants. Its size helps to present the pictures in a clear and vivid way. Also, the size makes this book feel more sturdy and able to withstand the wear and tear of long-term use. It feels a bit like those old school black & white composition books from grade school on steroids.Secondly, the touch and feel aspect of the book makes it more entertaining than simply reading through some average book page by page. In other words, every few pages or so, your child will get to "touch & feel" a strawberry or a puppy or a teddybear. It is [for lack of a better word] very "cute". A bonus is that the rhymes aren't repetitive or annoying for parents to read. Most adults will even find themselves running their fingers over the "suds" or "paint" along with their children.Third, the author managed to incorporate a lot of different things for you to point to and elaborate further on to your child. "Yes, you should eat ALL of these vegetables. This one is a... And that one is a ... " There's even a mirror for your little one/s to delight over. It's wisely placed at the end of the book so that your LO (little one) has something to anticipate.Just a great, well-thought out book.

Great book for babies and toddlers! This book is an A-Z touch and feel book. There are lots of children photos in the book, cute rhymes, and a mirror to see themselves. You can preview the entire book if you wish since it can be found on youtube. I will certainly buy this book again.

The best book for toddlers . My son love it . We read this book everyday and never get tired of it

This was the first book both of my babies would really look at and focus on. Then they both loved it for several years. They both revisited it when they were learning to read. Can’t say enough good things about it. I buy it for every friend having a baby.

My only quibble is with one "who" that should be a "whom" but otherwise, high quality touch-and-feel opportunities, good writing for a children's touch-and-feel book (this genre seems to be full of people writing in their 3rd language so when a book is reasonably well written, it's a big deal), and sturdy construction. Basically, everything you want from a book like this.

The rhymes and textures are engaging.

This is a great book for teaching young children new words with the added extra of being able to feel the texture of the figures on show. Some of the words are for older children though, not babies, so I would say it is pitched more for ages 2-3.

Cute little touch and feel ABC book. The illustrated children are all nationalities. There is something to touch and feel on most pages. It's the perfect size for reading to a little one. Great way to help little ones learn ABC's.

I bought one of these books for my granddaughter when she was an infant and she liked it so much it eventually fell apart. I looked for one for my infant grandson but couldn't find it in the stores. Was delighted to find it online. My grandson loves it too. Little ones really like the touch and feel features. I would recommend it to anyone for a "first" book and it will be enjoyed by any child for a long time.

LOVE IT - this book was my daughter's favourite and used it to learn the alphabet by age 2. My husband and I had it memorized in no time. Bought this book for my sister who is about to have a baby and think she will love it too.
