Frazer Warnock 21 inch Long Bagpipe Practice Chanter with 2 Quality Scottish Reeds, Breathable Case

We used this with a group of thirteen, third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders. The Frazer worked well for them. With instruction and lesson book they were able to produce sound with proper fingering. Third graders had difficulty covering holes. About half of the group were able to play a scale up and back down with some success during a half hour session. (This was preceded by a bagpipe introduction, parts of the bagpipe, how it makes sound etc. etc.) A couple of kids who already play clarinet or sax had difficulty laying fingers flat, to be expected. Several wanted to sign them out to take home showing a good introduction and getting kids interested. I would recommend the Frazer Warnock as a good practice chanter.

Bought for friend to learn to play the chanter then pipes. should work out well.
