Ask It: The Question That Will Revolutionize How You Make Decisions

I am not a huge fan of Andy Stanley. Yet he continues to hit "home runs" with life-changing books on basic subjects. This is a book that I will encourage everyone to read, to get them on solid footing for making wise decisions throughout life. Easy to understand, simple to grasp, yet profoundly foundational to living.

I felt this book was very insightful, and informative. Andy does have a golden question that could indeed be life changing. My only disappointment was that it seemed like the book had a monumental buildup to what was so simple of a question, that it was almost disappointing. I was reading the book out loud to my family and when the question was finally revealed, they just stared and me, and my step son said, "That's it?" All that for that?" There are multiple chapters after that question that explain why you should ask it, but it is almost anti-climatic.But the question itself, if applied consistently, could very easily be a life changer. It does make decisions easier, and clearer in the mind. It just doesn't seem like such wisdom should be so easy. Makes me mad I didn't think of it first! :-)

A terrific book for anyone... but especially someone at a turning point or a time of change or indecision. I began to implement suggestions immediately and it has already helped me make hard decisions and relieved a great amount of stress. A great gift book for high school or college graduates... teens going off to college... someone starting a new job... newlyweds... someone who feels stuck in neutral... really good for anyone. It will change the way they think about life's choices from the very first chapter and it only gets better.

Excellent study. Have used the complete series twice with two different groups. Very helpful for people making decisions concerning the big issues in life. In light of our past, in light of our present circumstances and in light of our future hopes and dreams what is the wise thing to do. Good for teens up to retired folk. Love and appreciate all of Andy Stanley's DVD series but this one is one of the best. Uses Ephesians 5.15-17 as the base for the series. Highly recommend for any group or class.

again read it and see if your life changes? Does it make your life more enjoyable? I do think it can....then teach this concept to your children, they too will find less disappointment with decisions

Fast read. The author has a soft understanding tone, though I was hoping for more of a kick in rear. Either way it got me thinking! I like his humor, and I am already on to another book of his.

This book is wonderful! Everyone should pass one on to someone else after reading. A very good book for young people to read, if you could them to read it and apply.

This is a life changing book. If I could go back in time as a young man and give myself ANYTHING it would be this book. Many times it is the simple things in life that people miss and the simple things that are so important. Stop reading this review and order the book.

A practical yet simple guide about navigate life’s big questions and problems. I like Andy’s straight forward, relatable approach to communicating a basic consent everyone can apply.

This is a simple book and an easy read but if one takes to heart "the question", it WILL change your future as well as one's "today" going forward.
